Power Grid

Substation refers to the power system, through a certain device to change the voltage from low level to high level (boost) or from high level to low level (buck) process. The rated voltage of the generator in the power system is generally below (15~20) kV. The commonly used transmission voltage levels are 765 kV, 500 kV, 220-110 kV, 35-60 kV, etc. The distribution voltage levels are 35-60 kV, 3-10 kV, etc. The electrical appliances of the electricity department have high-voltage electrical equipment with rated voltage of 3-15 kV and low-voltage electrical equipment such as 110V, 220V and 380V. Therefore, the power system is to connect the different voltage levels to form a whole through substation.
