From October 24 to 25, 2019, the "16th Urban Rail Transit Automatic Fare Collection System Technology Application Seminar and AFC Professional Product Exhibition" was grandly held in Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao. On this basis, Huawei's smart urban rail solution is proposed, that is, "3-layer architecture, 5 platforms, 3 types of ecology". At present, face recognition technology has been applied in subway AFC systems in Beijing, Jinan, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Tianjin and other cities, and has been piloted or tested in subway AFC systems in Fuzhou, Nanning, Shanghai, Hefei, Guiyang, Nanjing, Guangzhou and other cities. Face recognition technology in AFC applications, not only to think about traffic rate, recognition accuracy and other issues, but also need to think about security issues, including payment security and privacy protection. The application of face recognition on AFC is undoubtedly an innovation, but "innovation" is not for innovation itself, but to provide a better support and solution for the business.
Wang Yu of Tianjin Rail Operation Group Company shared the application of face recognition love code for special passenger groups of Tianjin rail transit. In terms of technical implementation, the love code is provided by the CDPF, the subway APP provides the channel, and is uniquely used by face recognition. At present, there are more than 15000 users of love code, accounting for about 5% of the total number of disabled people in Tianjin, and it is growing continuously.
