APMS Series Multi-Channel Cohesied Microwave Signal Generators-Four-Channels Cohesied Output Up to 40GHz

The APMS series of multi-channel coherent microwave signal generators provide up to four individually controllable but coherent microwave signal output channels with extremely fast frequency switching and very low phase noise in a 1U chassis. The frequency range is 300 kHz to 6, 12, 20, 33 or 40GHz. The output power range is-80dBm to 25dBm. Each channel of the APMS series multi-channel coherent microwave signal generator can be individually set in frequency, phase and amplitude. All channels include the standard pulse modulation function, while amplitude, frequency and phase modulation functions can be added as options. The multichannel coherent microwave signal generator has excellent phase noise, good spurious and harmonic limiting capability, and a frequency switching speed of 25 μs. The high stability OCXO internal reference has excellent frequency accuracy and stability. The APMS series multi-channel coherent microwave signal generator can flexibly receive an external reference signal from 1 to 250 MHz and a high frequency clock from 3GHz, thereby achieving excellent phase stability and coherence between channels of different devices.   • APMS series multi-channel coherent microwave signal generator with innovative phase coherent switching and phase memory function (option PHS):

    ● Phase coherent switching: the phase relationship between multiple channels is always determined. When one of the channels changes frequency, it returns to the previous frequency, and each channel still maintains the original phase relationship

    ● Phase memory: When a channel is switched to another frequency during operation, it is switched back to the initial frequency, and its phase is continuous, as if it has been running continuously at this frequency.

    Phase coherence stability: The innovative phase coherence architecture within the APMS series can keep the coherence relationship between each output channel stable for a long time, and the phase drift within 24 hours is less than 1 degree

    The APMS series of multi-channel phasor microwave signal generators are ideal for a variety of applications that require high quality signals, accurate signal levels, and a wide output power range. It boasts good performance in areas such as quantum computing (QuBit manipulation), radar signal generation and satellite load testing.

    The APMS signal source uses a standard 19-inch 1U housing and provides USB and Ethernet interfaces and an optional GPIB interface. Each interface allows for easy, high-speed communication using the SCPI 1999 command set. Remote control of the instrument can be achieved at high speed from a variety of host systems. The application programming interface (API) and programming examples of Matlab,Labview,C and other commercial tools provided to customers make testing very simple.
